Safety Alert: Safety Initiatives Postponed

Update on safety initiatives
National Safety Council Distracted Driver Awareness Month postponed -- This year marks the 10th anniversary of this important event to protect lives. (Date TBD)
DOT National Distracted Driving Enforcement Mobilization U Drive - U Text - U Pay Campaign - April 6-13 This event has been postponed.
?National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) will continue as scheduled on April 20-24th . This year marks the 20th anniversary of the annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season encourages safe driving through highway work zones. The key message is for drivers to use extra caution in work zones.
OSHA Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction originally scheduled for May 4-8th postponed.
CVSA International Roadcheck originally scheduled May 5-7th postponed to later in the year.
2020 Trench Safety Stand Down June 15-19, 2020 -- NUCA is closely monitoring the current situation with regards to COVID-19 and if a date change is necessary will communicate out as soon as possible.
OSHA Safe + Sound Week 2020, August 10-16
These organizations are monitoring the status of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and will select new dates when it’s safe and reasonable to do so. Once the rescheduled dates have been announced, Corkill will notify clients and schedule safety training and job site visits to support your efforts to promote these safety initiatives.
